We Are All One Body In Unity

Services

sunday 10 am & 11 AM | Wednesday 6:30 PM

Jul. 10, 2024

All means all. (Ephesians 4, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all).

We crucify our flesh daily. The Spirit of God equips us as we surrender. Peace is the ligament that keeps the all together. (Ephesians 4, Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Galatians 5, 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh).

We see the Trinity in the One. (Ephesians 4, There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. John 17, 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them).

The church is the body of Christ from Pentecost on--believers.

1 Corinthians 12, 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many.

1 Corinthians 6, 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

The Holy Spirit is the power--not numbers.

hope: Biblical hope is confident expectation coming ahead--sure hope. (Ephesians 4, There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling).

When we get saved, the Holy Spirit indwells us. After we are saved, we follow Christ in baptism--identification with Him. (Ephesians 4, One Lord, one faith, one baptism. John 1, 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Romans 6, Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?).
