How to Walk.

ye: the church. (Ephesians 4, ¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind).

Respect and the fear of God are no more. Paul had to teach them they were in Christ now. They were not in paganism anymore. Live by godly standards now.

vanity: no purpose; nonsense; void of truth. The flesh likes to tell us what to do. We lay our treasures up in heaven.(Ephesians 4, ¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind).

mind: The conscience can be seared. Protect our minds. When we get saved, we get the mind of Christ. (Ephesians 4, ¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind).

The devil wants your mind. Flee fornication. (Romans 8, 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be).
