Adam and Eve had fellowship with God until they sinned.

confess: forsaking and turning from. We don’t live any way we want to live. This is how we stay clean. (1 John 1, 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness).

We are supposed to reflect Christ. Your walk should match your talk. We cannot have our sin and salvation. (Ephesians 4, 17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ).

We are not to continue to sin. God gave us a new desire. (Romans 6, 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Galatians 5, 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would).

Psalm 27:1, The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Light dispels darkness. Light reveals everything. (1 Peter 2, 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light).

God’s holiness convicts sinners and guides the saints.
