abounded: lavish; over in abundance. (Ephesians 1, 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence).
They had plenty left over. (Matthew 14, 20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full).
God superabounds His grace.
We should superabound in our service to Him.
wisdom: understanding of the thing of God. God gave us knowledge of spiritual things. (Ephesians 1, 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence).
prudence: insight, God gave us common sense. (Ephesians 1, 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence).
2 Corinthians 2, 16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
mystery of his will: previously been hidden but now given to us by divine inspiration. (Ephesians 1, 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself).
