Glorify God in your body. We were bought with a price. We are not our own anymore. We have been crucified with Christ. Christ lives in us. Set your minds on the things of Christ. (1 Corinthians 6, 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?).

Galatians 2, 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Colossians 3, If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Paul told them not to lose heart. Paul’s ministry carried on even when he was in prison.

Colossians 3, 22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God; 23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Colossians 4, Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.

Faint not. Don’t lose heart. Don’t become tired of doing something over and over again. Be faithful in welldoing, prayer, and service. (2 Corinthians 4:1: Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not. Galatians 6, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not).

desire: ask for with a sense of urgency; continually asking over and over again. (Ephesians 3, 13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory).

tribulations: squeeze in; to place under pressure; great difficulty. We must depend on God’s grace when we experience trials.

(Ephesians 3, 13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory).

Rejoicing in hope. (Romans 12, 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer).

Each of us has a place of service.
